The Xbox Elite is a great system, that is what im currently running and I have not one regret. The price for Xbox live gold may seem spendy, but its worth it. Theirs a huge selection of downloadable games, movies, game content ect.

if you plan on getting xbox live than you should get the mid level pro edition. if not then you would be fine only getting the core or arcade system that is only 199. it comes with a memory card a wireless controller and standard definition av cables. its a really good value butif you feel like spending a little exra to get alot more spring for the elite edition with the 120 gb hard drive. i use mine for almost everything. i have netflix through it, i also have my facebook, theres alot that you can do witha 360 its just on how much you plan on spending.
hes right on the fan comment though, its been proven that they do absolutely nothing for your system. i had my first 360 since feb. of 06 and it was still working completly fine until some scum bag stole it in the spring of 09. i upgraded to the elite with the insurance money i got for it and a year later have not had a single problem.
I agree. But farcry 2 is bomb. Also, halo 1 is still a good game, and you can get it used pretty cheap. By the way, you're getting it for a freind? You know you want it for yourself.ryeguy28;3583032; said:

xbox is far superior to ps3 in games and online capabilities, the netflix addition is awesome. ps3 may have bluray, but thats about it. The ps3 as a whole looks huge and bulky. I am an avid xbox fan and love everything about it.
Xbox360 ftw, Ps3 have poxy light controllers so when you play Call of duty, the trigger isnt a trigger but a grendade/spec grenade, @ least on X box the trigger is a goddam trigger. C.o.D 5 NAZI ZOMBIES but be weary all his energy will be taken from the bedroom and put into the X box!!!!
