Need advice Getting ready to order a 10'x4'x3-4' Tank

those ultima filter neo used are good filters... you can get nice inline better mech filters from aquatic eco and use them inline.. lots of ways you can go that dont involve a sump... me personally i would go large scale closed loop on a tank that big...

Cool, All this "closed loop" talk is over my head. I know less than nothing about filter's lines ect... :(

I'll be paying Koop and a few other's to help me there. :)

Holy crap.. I built my 1500 for less than that..

Personally, I would build it and save your self some money.

I honestly considered this. But i'm not going to be were i live more than.. Maybe five years. So i need it as mobile as possible.. And i'm just terrible with my hand's! I break everything i touch. lol
 
10X4X30", I think that's close to the size. of MFK baller's tank Micheal.(Tri State Fish Hoarder) Maybe he'll see this. lol

thats size of his and xblwn408 has 2 of them as well.. there is also a guy by me with one this size... very nice size tank i would prob do this height or 36... 48 is too tall im also kinda short so i would prob stay with 30 tall 36 would be a nightmare for me...lol

I'm 6'4'', So the taller tank really don't matter to me. I assume you don't need a pump with the filter's in the link. Pretty much a big arse Fx5?
 
If you do 10x4x30" that's the same size as kevins tank. Sweet dimensions.

those filters that Nic posted a link to DO need an external pump. Mostly you're looking at 5K GPH pumps. Like a hammerhead.
