:D I've heard that. I lived in coastal South Carolina for 20+ years. The water there was the same way. We used RO for everything.

I agree, but I've seen it done many times successfully. In an earlier post I said water changes should be done to maintain the nitrAte level you want. I think that's the key. With 12-15 in a 110, no tankmates, and good local water I would assume your water changes would have to be 4-5 times a week at 50% or so. I also said 10 was probably the final choice.
