need advice on moving a reef tank please

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
glad everything turned out well! My advice is to not use a 6 line wrasse to take out the flat worms. They turn in to real terrors.

I have never had any issues with a six line wrasse. All the horror stories I have heard are against other wrasses...

I have had one issue where he stressed a royal gramma (Because they were attempting to live in the same "niche" in the tank) but the fish didnt die, it didnt even jump, it just hid behind a maxi jet for a skimmer. Eventually the six line actually jumped (I figure from the stress of always worrying about the basslet) and the basslet came out and was a model citizen.

im gettin them small and when they out grow the tank im sure the lf swill be more than willing to trade them out for another small one.
what other tang would be good with a powder blue?

A none acanthurus species. I would try to add them at the same time and if not possible, add a bigger one 2nd. It will also depend on the species you choose for the order.

they will both go in at the exact same time. what tangs are not in that acabthurus family?

lol. why do you say that?
oh here is a touched up pic that shows what it really looks like
