awesome pickup dude.

If I had a place to put it......:(

Uncle Bill's on 38th St. They are in a tank by their piranhas. They had 4 or 5 left.

Edit - He was $10.

that's the lfs I was talking about having them every time I've been there in the last year or so. they sometimes have them in 2 different tanks. just look closely in the ones labelled "Misc/Assorted South Americans". Kevin also gets them in from time to time at the Reef on N. Keystone ave. :) Males are the ones with very dark and distinct red spots all the way down the body. the red spots on females will be very faded or won't be present at all below the midlateral line.

Yeah...I usually never make it over to this Uncle Bill's cause I live on the south east side of town. I had to have this guy cause he was ruling the whole tank, even if I wasn't quite sure as to what it was. The 38th st store does seem to have a better selection there than the other ones. The one on the east side never seems to have anything beyond the ordinary fish.

From what I have read, he seems like the type of fish I have been looking for. I am glad that you guys knew what it was.

Nice grammodes! I have a small one (2") I'm growing out.
