No, they're pretty much just called grammodes. No common name like Convict or Firemouth.

Rallysman, a guy I know on another site has a pair that is 2 years old and the male is 9".

the only common name I've heard of for grammodes is the "Sieve cichlid" but I never hear it actually used. they're most often just called grammodes.

I got my 1st one last yr and it only grew about 2-3" in 6 months than katrina took it away. Now I have another but isnt as bad as my 1st so its in a 55 with africans.

Wish i had a shop with mixed/assorted sa/ca's.
