I know its a matter of personal taste but get a background-I'm amazed by the number of fantastic tanks I see on this site that don't have backgrounds. You end up staring at flowery wallpaper or odd looking curtains-I personally feel it makes a huge difference to the tank and fish too
background for sure and add some rock like caves or logs that fish hide in surrounded by a few more plants.. and it would be perfect.
paint back black, then add a big piece of wood in the center... then a large not huge rock on each side with plants bunched heavily in back...
A lot of people paint the back of their tanks, they have special paint that just peels off if you ever decide to sell the tank or change the background. I'm not sure of the name of this paint, I have never used it
