I am treating them with Seachem Cupramine for 3 days now. Initially I'm thinking it was either Ich or Velvet that's why I use a copper sulfate medication. I'm doing a daily 50% WC to keep up with the water parameters, the temperature is at 88°F. They are swimming alright but not eating. Here are some pictures.
Hoping for your inputs.

This is a very resistant type of ich,I'm running the temps from 88 and close to 90 for 3 days with seachem cupramine. I hope they fall off already.

What occurred that caused this? Anything else other than Discus in the tank?

If it were me, I would not rely on temp alone.
I have had temp resistant strains of ich, and withholding a chemical treatment such as malachite, only hastened epidemic, secondary infection, and massive die off.

They are in my quarantine together with a clown loach, 2 cories, 2 rams and 3 hatchets.
The 3 discus are just 5 days with me. The guy where I bought it told me it was imported from Indonesia. I'm thinking it was so stressed and carried the parasites too. The rest of the fishes are in quarantine for almost 2 weeks. Only the hatchets are infected by it, the rest are fine.

That seems like a heavy infection. I'm curious.. how long did it take for them to get that covered?

And good luck.. break outs suck.
I know, just the 2nd day they showed the symptoms and it goes full blast from there overnight.

So seachem cupramine is not effective for this? That is what I'm using for 2 days now, I only see a small portion of the white spots gone with the discus. But one hatchet is clear now this afternoon.
I'm a bit leery to add another chemical in the tank because cupramine is toxic if mixed with other meds as what as I was told.

cupramine should be effective.
Ich needs to run its course, and often looks worse before it gets better.
Vacuuming substrate with any water change helps rid of unhatched cysts.
when I treat, I treat everyday for 3 days, do a major water changes and start over.
