Need help ASAP

when u get the fish put it in the tank. everyday do a 25% water change. but when adding the water do it slow thats how i did it with my araiapama and arowana. u should be find
 
Does he even want these fish? Who's going to take care of them? I think pets are a terrible present, especially as a surprise.
 
This puts a new twist on evrything. Can you please explain your plans for this surprise?
 
I think I did a pretty good job at confusing everyone. The surprise was for me. Although it wasn't much of a surprise. My buddy thought it would be a good gift to send me some piranhas. He obviously knows less than I do, which is next to nothing. I don't usually keep fish, mainly reptiles and inverts, so this is a little new to me.
 
if i had to guess, i would say that you'll be receiving a box full of a dozen dead piranhas on tuesday... i'm sure the box has been hot as hell, the ammonia levels are deadly by this point, and they love to eat each other during the shipping process. i've seen crazier things happen tho, so who knows... if you still want to try to get the tank ready just in case, you can try doing what i said earlier, i've gotten tanks ready within a day or two during an emergency.
 
Unfortunately I can't find any used fish media. I might get some fish today and see what happens but the piranhas will be here tomorrow.
