Need help! Brown algae

first I want to wish you safe passage in Iraq I would maybe get a new powerhead for that area maybe something not with a real strong flow but moderate. Phosphate's can be from different thing's feeding, water used to make new saltwater. I would check with your wife on how she is feeding and with what frozen, flake, pellet, freeze dried, etc... then go step by step to identify the phosphate issue and eliminate it.

Thanks. I have been here since April. I think it is from feeding. I know before I left I often got onto her for feeding too big of a pinch and not all would be eaten before it would settle on the bottom. She puts her hands in the water so the flakes don't just float on the top and they blow around in the water. Is this good or should she just set it on top? I'm pretty sure she feeds twice a day.
