So my discus seems to have gifted these orange-ish color sores the one in the right almost looked like some white thing was sticking out so I assumed parasites and an treating him which parasite meds which after 24hours I can’t say much has changed. My filter media is removed of course but if any knows or has seen this before please reach out.

What meds are u using? Can u get clear close up pics?

Some info that may be useful, how long have you had the fish? Any new adds? If so was there a quarantine procedure? Tank age?
Looks to me and sounds like a parasite but I am not an expert.

Hard to make out in the pics. Could be anchor worm or flukes.
