Need help chosing a good Tankmate for Datnoids...

I keep a bunch of polys with one dats and it's working fine. Will archer be good tankmate with dat?
Keep them with a shoal of silver dollar (with a black mark on the side), but they are quite expensive $45 a piece. Or like attackfish said, try it with the green arowana, my lfs is selling them for $168, they are around 10" or so :O Or maybe a triginus $140 or peacock bass 6-7" $18 or something, and my lfs is selling endii for $40 not sure if it is cheap or expensive.

How about trying the giant gouramy,I have never had one but intend to look into getting one soon if they are not aggressive.I always try to keep fish together that are found in the same area,never kept dats with cichlids because it doesnt occur naturally and it just does not look right to me.Do some reading and see what comes from their native waters and find out whats available.
