If you put him in a Quarantine tank, check the parameters on that. What's the temp? Remember, warmer water holds less oxygen than cooler water, but you have an airpump going, so that shouldn't be it. Check the parameters, and maybe it's time to do a water change. Did you add the salt? Adding the salt too fast may also be causing this.
