Are your classes very hard? are they AP? If I ever study it isn't longer than 15-30 mins, cramming seems to work better for me anyways. Most tests are common sense just think about the question and out will come the answers, When do you take ACT? Still you need to either cheat or buckle down, I apply a little of both and works like a charm.

Cheating will get you nowhere. If you don't learn, it will eventually come back and haunt you. High school is 90% effort.

i know what is like to have alot on your plate. currenlty im in choir boyscouts piano trumpet sports church related activities and i do alot of community service. IN ADDITION TO MY HOBBIES

drop the tennis and use the tennis practice time to study and do homework.
also doing your homework at school helps alot plus if you have a problem the teachers are right there.

As for failing classes...I wouldn't blame that on your hobby at all. Do you represent yourself poorly to your teachers? teacher can give you a bad grade, even if you do well on test, quiz's, and classwork. I know its pathetic but you have to be a suck up and stay after every now and then and your teachers will believe you have respect for your schoolwork, and that alone can improve your grade drastically.

good luck, keep the grades up. Nothing is worse for school than a stressful home life.

not really true about sucking up.

maybe for you it is but not for me.

i have repeatedly told my spanish teacher that i hate spanish. i have a 91 in her class right now lol
just work hard and everything seems to fall into place

that suxs man

Well yeah, obviously it wont be true in all instances. I had an illogical 114% when I completed geometry in.......10th grade? not sure. I hated the class. Played calculator games all day. Slept the rest of the time, and was still miles ahead of the class.

Most classes you have difficulty in, and your struggling is apparent, teachers will put into consideration. If you act like an ass all class and talk back, yeah you'll fail. If you work your ass off and your grades aren't quite up there, theres a chance the teacher will bump them up for your effort. Unless you have a 68 year old teacher with no teaching abilities, who plans on retiring at the end of the year and doesnt give a f***. That sums up my senior year of highschool.

You just need study habits.

I was doing great last semester in college, then I hit a wall this semester. Difference? I wasn't doing anything, and all the courses the previous semster was easy to fake papers.

However, the second semester required more practical knowledge, so what do I do to improve it?

Litterly spend everything but 2-3 hours and dedicated sleeping time outside of my room. I don't eat in my room, I don't drink. It is solely for the purpose of sleeping.

Second thing? Always carry your research and supplies with you. I find I do best with assignments while I am watching TV.

Also try explaining that there are alot of rather well paying careers in the fishy world! :D

Most require a degree of one sort or another, shooling is a must.
Good luck!
