I sure hope he does ok. Stories like yours are the reason I went through and put sand in all the tanks. I was scared to death one of my Oscars would suck up stones or gravel and get it stuck like that. All my cichlids are always shoving substrate around.

yeah I'm thinking of doing just that to be honest once I move the tetras into his tank and him and his Pleco and Tiger loach buddies into the 32 gal from the 20 they have been housed in for the past two years of their lives *That's what they came in when we inherited them...If we had the cash for a 75 we would have done that in a heartbeat...*
