Danios seem like a popular choice. I had some platies with mine too, they didn't get too much hassle. Hopefully you end up with a nice chilled out pair.

Are the jag and Salvini in the same tank?

Naw they are in separate tanks he has his own 125 they are in a 75 but he’s only about 3 inches so I’m kinda scared to mix them because if they hurt him I’m going to be really mad lol

My salvini are in a 90g. No dithers. No violence. My male is a lot larger than the female so I added a bunch of hiding places that only she can get in. When they breed, I separate them because she gets super aggressive. This also works in my octofasciata and nigrofasciatus tanks. I rarely use dithers unless it’s a 100% necessity
