bacterial infection? I would do a salt bath and raise the temp to be safe. mela fix is all natural and speeds healing or you could do a maracyn plus dip its like a cure all is so safe you can use it in a reef tank its good for ulcers. can you get better pics?

I see you're in Maryland...Heater burns?

The patch on my endli seems to be getting better but there's still a red dot.

I did another 80% water change today with salt.

This is the delhezi and the clearest pic I got today

I think so also, I increased my temp to 86 and im trying not to add any meds as much as possible. Right now im just doing WC every other day with salt

I also think that was the case at first, but then 1 of the bichir's tail is started to fray.

Your salt level at? I would aim for 1.005 for the tank and 1.023 for a couple min dip. that's fin rot it can spread to the body.
If you don't see improvement in a day or so I would use the mela fix you can get the pond formula to treat 50 gals per 5 ml vs the normal tank one 10 gals per 5 ml http://www.apifishcare.com/product.php?id=629#.Uul-blAo6BZ

Do you have anything in the tank that they can scrape there self on? Sorry I miss the part about them getting better that's great :)

I have no idea about my salt level, but I just add a tsp per 10g.

I haven't seen any improvement on the delhezi and the fin rot just started on one of them.

The one that got alittle better is the endli.

Treat with API Fungus Cure. Make sure to wait a half hour after adding declor befor adding meds to the tank. Remove carbon if you use it.

Id go with a melafix/pimafix or api fungus cure combo, salt and an increase in WCs. If after an 80% WC your nitrates were 20 then before that they must have been pretty high. Ammonia burn? You wont be able to tell if there was an ammonia spike since you didnt test before the huge WC. My red wolf got what looks like that after i didnt notice a jumping wound (cut on the snout) for a few days.

There any plecos in the tank? Or have you observed any bullying?
