Ok, need ideas for what to put in my coffee-table-terrarium.
The dimensions of the enclosure are similar to that of a 75gal tank (48X18X16).
Heating element will be under-tank heat only, with flourescent lighting for light. So nothing that requires an overhead basking spot.
Ventilation is provided by 2 side vent pieces (like the grate kind for walls)
I want something that looks good viewed from the top as the sides are solid wood.
Preferrably something that requires low-humidity. Wont hide too much, and can live in this throughout it's whole life.
Doesn't have to be handleable as this is more of a showpiece type terrarium.
Got ideas?

i'm pretty sure you get a blue tonge skink. but not 100% sure though. gl with nice.

oh yea sorry i almost forgot how do you get the lizard out.

blue tongue skink.

gila or a beaded

I wouldn't recomend a Gila to anyone but the EXTREMELY experienced.
Bearded Dragon? Heat lamp would be needed...

beaded is the other venomous lizard... they are bigger than gilas. I think most larger lizards would want a basking spot as opposed to a heat pad. Snakes... maybe but most reptiles won't want to be looked over from on top all the time. I think an amphib tank would be best personally, if you made it waterproof.

Oh yeah I'm onto the bearded now LOL
Wouldnt recommend that niether..
