Hmm, do you already have the tank or not? If not, are you limited by parents? Weight? Cost?

I have the 29 already and will most likely be able to get one small tank (I'm planning maybe pea puffers) and maybe one a little larger. Mostly limited by my parents as if I do get a bigger tank it will have to wait at least 6 months+ bc we are having some work done on our house (and no, I don't have any idea why that's relevant to when I can get another fish tank) cost isn't much of a limitation either. The 29 is on a stand built for up to a 37 I believe so weight isn't an issue.

Edit: just saw you said if not for the other stuff and I wrote that for no reason

The leaf fish I had ate a dozen feeders a day. I tried silversides on fishing line but could never break them.
Butterflyfish are awesome and a real cool little predator.
Thank you for your input! I think I'll look more into numbers for the butterflies, and will see if I can figure out a cool bottom dweller to go with them. If you have any suggestions for this id love to hear them!

What are your thoughts on the leopard bush fish in a tank this size? Too big probably?

I think a bush fish would be fine in a 29 gal, I’ve had one for just about 8 years and it’s maybe 6 inches
