A 2 gallon is WAY to small for a gourami no matter what size it is.

Ok, so I'm updated, and why don't you go to walmart and just get a rubbermaid tub? It's not too expensive, and you'll have more room for your fish.

whats teh biggest and for the cheapest?? remember i hvae 50 bux on the first of june and get 100 from june 10th to the 28th of just for helpin grampa with teh dogs so by july id i dont spend any money ill have 200.

THIS IS CRAZY......FROM PAGE 1 TO MY COMMENT....WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, THIS IS NOT A CHEAP HOBBIE. IF YOU WANT TO RAISE FISH, PLEASE DO IT RIGHT....I KNOW I HAD A FEW ERRORS KEEPING FISH, BUT YEAH.
YOU GOT $50.00 DOLLERS NOW...YOU CAN GET A BIG RUBBER MAID (I THINK) 50GAL TUB FOR 20 BUCKS.

You could get a 40 breeder for about 70 bucks brand new you already have a bunch of filtration, all you would need is the hood and light which shouldn't be more than 100 all total, then you'd still have 30-40 bucks for a stand, and a bunch of money left over for sand, or gravel, and decor. Have you shown your uncle how big a 40 breeder is? Its not much bigger than your 29g but the actual footprint 3x18 I think is SO much better than what you have now.

i just took everything outa my tan but added 2 shells type thing pics will come later. and my tank right now looks SOOO much natural then with all the decs in there

You can get a 55 gallon tank with a heater, filter and hoods with lights for $155 from wally world. And, for an extra 30 bucks or so you can get a stand. So, if you have the 55 gallon tank and a 29 gallon tank, I think you could spilt most of your fish up between the two and have them be relatively happy. Would you be able to fit a 55 gallon in the space you have?

Or, if you want to do totes, you can get an 18 gallon one for like $5, but then you'd have to get filters, etc you could use in the totes safely. Make sure you don't get any that have anti-mildew/mold chemicals in the plastic.
