With $200, you could get a complete 55 setup. Maybe a 75, if you are patient. A 40 breeder would also be great.

The Jelly bean convicts are not a hybrid just a line bred deformed convict should be able to breed if the dying did not make the sterile as for your tank. The fish I would get rid of would be the bichir convicts and tiger barbs if you want the angel and watch the gourmis. Or you can get rid of the bichir and the angel.

i have a breeding pair of jellybeans(not dyed) and they can be kept quite comfortably in a 20 gallon. they have bred regularly for the last 2 years and have produced thousands of fry. however you will need another tank for the fry because they grow quickly and become a burden on the filtration in a short period of time.(i run an aquaclear 50 on my 20 gallon)

I'm still mad that I had 2 innocent posts deleted that were put with good intentions! Oh well, I'm sure this one will get deleted for being "irrelavent" too...

Then why post again why not talk to a mod about it. Seems like the smart thing to do.

Anyways, if you don't want to keep the babies I have always kept the young with the parents and they always seem to eat the babies when it comes to making more.
