No. Not to much. Have about 500-600 babies that are currently being grown out and should be available in the spring. The original 30-50 fry I grew out look like the parents. Of course, some of them are not as vivid, but, that is to be expected as all broods can't be 100% perfect.
I am currently working on a strain of Aulonocara sp. Maleri "Super Orange" in which is just as nice as these. They are a TRUE orange rather then a yellow orange; much like Mr. Georgeonne's he was showing. Right now I have about 15 males and 15 females of the Wuddy Strain, which, are all subdivided into different breeding groups with different males of different strains. The first batch of fry yeilded 100% ruby red specific to that line (Thailand). The 2nd batch of fry yielded the same thing with a different male of a different strain. All appear to be TRUE to their specific species and not a hybrid. What I mean by this is that they show 100% POSITIVE PHYSICAL ASPECTS of being a true breed species. Granite, 1-5% of them might have died which could have been the "hybrids" as some say, but, I have a hard time believing that I am losing nothing but the "hybrids" everytime I raise out fry. The numbers just don't match up IMO and those people who say that garbage are very illiterate upon scientific methods and research.
There are new lines I am working with.
I have landed some Protomelas Ornatus "Lobochilus" F0 Group I will currently be working with.
Champsochromis Spiloryhnchus I have also landed and will be working with those.
I have about 10 lines I am currently concentrating (myself and a friend of mine) on. Some of the stuff I keep at my place, and, some stuff he keeps at his place for close observation and stuff that is more finicky and really need to be in a tank rather then a vat.
