I added my old group of 17 giant danios as dithers and they were so super hyper that when the lights go out, they would dart like crazy and cause the cudas to dash like crazy so I took them back out. What other dithers would be a good choice without being eaten or nipping the cudas? I tried tiger barbs also and that didn’t work out. I was thinking lemon tetras.

Are u seeing any aggression or nipping b/w the fish?

Try some floating plants and the ones that have roots coming down. This will help. Also try some red and blue Columbia’s tetras. Not as active but will distract.

Remember technically dithers are to make the main fish comfortable, target fish are to disperse aggression lol

Maybe I should’ve rephrased it as “ what fish to add to fill up empty space”
lol I was just messing with kno4te. I don't think I've seen anyone use target fish or dither in it's correct way. But in that case I'd say add other characins or maybe cats that you like
