lol I was just messing with kno4te. I don't think I've seen anyone use target fish or dither in it's correct way. But in that case I'd say add other characins or maybe cats that you like
I think I have enough bottom dwellers. Can’t add anymore without the vampire, green phantom or blue botia killing them. Guess Iill keep an eye out for more cudas

Update. Came home to this. Last night I noticed it was super skittish and darting everywhere. My guess it ran into the glass and killed itself. Stupid fish! It was just starting to look awesome.

Sorry for the loss. Happens a lot with these kind of fish.

Thanks guys. This is the 2nd time I tried my hands at yellowtail and both times it has failed me. Guess it’s back to just redtail only.

You would think that a 6’ tank is long enough to deter the glass darting but guess not. Well I’m gonna hold off on yellowtail cuda till I find a very big one like 10”. Has 3 red tails and not once did I lose any to killing themselves in the glass. I regret selling the first 2.

6ft tank should be good. Gotta put some time plants along the side of the tank and it’ll help to stop potential trauma.
