Need some ideas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you go with the Geophagus idea try to find some Geophagus sp. Tapajos Orange Head. Don't forget the clown loaches though.

do some polys, dojo and kuhli loaches, eels (peacock, tiretrack, fire, etc) and siamese algae eater..... Voila! a worm tank :D

Hey what ever you get... peace, love, and hair grease! I currently have over 7 tanks running and occuppied. and does it matter if you paid for it or not....NOT.

Hey I understand your point and hopefully you understood mine........ Over 40% of the post are " what to stock".

Hopefully no hard feelings.

BTW try researching bocourti and pearsi and also viejas.

Absolutely no hard feelings! I understand your position quite well and in agreement with it. I just can't say "NO" to a free tank regardless of size. Since I have it I might as well fill it! As far as tank go, I have 17 of which 10 are in use.

What's with the fascination over loaches? If it is because of the "Loachinator Lupin", well that's his thing and I would just be a copycat.LOL.

Because Loaches are so fast and SO happy in big groups in big tanks :-) And that's a great sized tank for a group of them. You'd never have to syphon the bottom of the tank no matter what other fish you had in there. The Loaches would keep it spottless and stir up the rest so the filter sucked it in.

I might be wrong but I think I read that they even eat detritus? {shiver at the thought}. Which one is the real peaceful one and also the one that buries itself in the sand?
