+1 for tcarswell
;)

I thought this was monster fish keepers we want maximum dimensions folks 48" is what a monster fish keeper dreams of come on!:D

not knowing what kind of gars or rays, aros like to get more then 36" so i think youd be better off going with the 96x48, you really arent gonna get their jaws dropped all that much more by that extra 2 feet, most people think a 125 is MASSIVE and in anycase if your just looking to make someone realize how big the tank is you can always stand them next to it and look how wide it is. most rays get 30"+ then you have a tail so your not gonna get a life time tank out of a 120x36 for a moto, or a henlei, or a leo

soooo, unless its florida gars, hystrix/scobina/retic rays, and idk much about aros but those small ones :P, your really probably gonna wish you had that extra 12" depth in a few years

Somewhere I believe in this thread and I dont know exactly where people lost track of MFK. Just because your tank is 36" long does not mean you will have a comfortable 36" fish.... Ask the real MFKers with 4 footers like the guys in the armatus area who are talking about the reality of 5-6 footers (yes front to back) :chillpill::D

tbh i think a lot of people voted before they read his stock list, there are a lot of different kinds of fish you can keep in a 10x3, he just isnt keeping those kinds of fish so the 4ft depth imo is nessecary.

hmmm 10x6 that tank sounds fun....

I agree. Could you imagine a 12 X6 ohhh the fun I could have. Ofcourse I would have to designate a room to something like that lol.
