So I am looking for a cleaner fish to get all the leftovers. I was think maybe a few clown loaches. I have 3 motoros ranging from 8-13inches. Just wondering what you guys have used out there that has worked really well with rays.

Setup is a 180 with an FX5

Yeah I was considering a fei feng, but not really liking how they look.

I was also thinking about cats, but they can't get too big and eat the other fish I got.

Lima shovelnose catfish

dont feed as much?

Why not one of the synodontis? Or black lancer catfish....

I would have thought that a black lancer maybe too agressive for the ray with it being a mystus species, and the synodontis parhaps a little too reclusive. If its for eating alage You cant go better than a flagtial prochilodus. If its more for say uneaten food, parhaps a few geophagines? or small school of tinfoil barbs or bala sharks. Clownloach work well too but would have to be large aroynd 5-6" to prevent them becomming food.

Your probabkly right re: the B.Lancer, but I think J Wong is looking to clean up uneaten food. Tinfoils and sharks are very greedy, so they would work, just a bit boring imo.

A synodontis can clean up food when lights are. They are my tank cleaners.:)
