Need To Rant On Cars

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
harsh. here you can pass your test with a manual and be able to drive a automatic, but if you pass just with AT, you cannot drive manuals...

I agree w/ Jed. Driving a manual transmission vehicle will make you a better, more alert driver, IMO. Driving an automatic isn't really driving--it's more like operating a transportation appliance. In the U.S., about 85% of new cars are sold with automatic transmissions. In the rest of the world, it's the opposite with about 85% of new cars having manual transmissions. The result is that the average American driver has no skills. The driving experience has been so trivialized that people feel the need to put on their make-up, talk on their cell phones, and read while they're being shuttled about in their transportation appliances. :(

And don't even get me started on drifting!

Asian people can't drive *runs*

:uhoh:

but seriously. Sorry to hear that happened Ming. Atleast your alright

Hong Kong driver, Paul Lau, will race a Speedtech Asia Dallara 398 in the final round of the series at the Batangas Addict Mobile AF3 Superprix on December 5th. Lau will line up alongside Oliver Turvey and Moreno Soeprapto.

Paul Lau is relatively experienced, having raced Formula Renault in Asia and the UK, but this will be his first race in Formula Three. Speedtech Asia team manager, Edgen Dy-Liacco, reported that this will be a learning experience for Paul who will have to cope with a Formula Three car and the challenging Batangas Circuit for the first time.

Lau joins a growing list of Chinese drivers who have raced in AF3 this year, Mars Hsieh, Dick Lau and Alan Wong all having sampled the power of the F3 car. and they all use there mums car:naughty:

dude, dont buy a junker to learn how to drive a manual transmission car................
go test drive a new one, and learn on that :grinyes:

OUCH!

I'm never gonna let my kid ride a motorcycle. He can have a nice sports car but no bikes!

Its funny i have had bikes on the road from the age of 16 but i dont want my son having one. I used to smoke but i would be gutted if my son did i think its the old "do as i say not as i do" thing:thumbsup:

You guys can ask Li how my driving alertness was this last FL trip if you don't beleive me. I did things he wouldn't do. LOL He almost jumped from the front seat all the way to the trunk! :naughty:

Remember that crazy lady that almost side swipped us on the way to the airport, Li? CRAZY WOMAN!:swear:
