Now that I am thinking about it, I was wondering If I could get a normal Jd and a Electric JD. Will the fry look like an electric JD, or a normal JD?

its kinda hard at that size but you said it was 3"? at that size if it was male it would be showing some blue so I think female

I would not this is your first tank and EBJD have a habit of dieing oon after added to the tank due to bad genes they also get smaller than normal ones about 6" while regular can get 8-10" also they can be more skidish and less personable I mean it verys between fish also I like the darker blue that the regulars get here is a EBJD and a norm JD (mine) the EBJD dont get the red strip on the fins 
So just a normal JD pair? What species (like eb jdc’s) looks the best colorwise? Also, now that I am thinking about it, I should just get the JD’s from Pet Zone or something like that. Should be cheaper. In a month or 2, my dad will most likely be digging 2 koi ponds, and he wants to get shipped some koi. So that could be the shipping experience.
