My tank is 72" x 18" x 24"
As cool as a wolf fish would be, they are going for $250+ each in my area which is too expensive for me.
The argentea or zonatus would be a good idea. Those are nice looking fish! Maybe a big cichlid of some kind with a bunch of smaller schooling fish ? Although it seems all the big cichlids don't play well with others.
I vote trimac or any parachromis (not dovii though. All of these fish are smart, interactive and beautiful. Having a wet pet or a pair would be a drastic change from a community tank.
I recommend parachromis losellie. I miss this male. He had so much personality.

That is a really cool looking fish. But it seems like they do better alone.
On the weekend I went to one of the local fish stores and there was a huge frontosa which my gf loved so she is really pushing for one of those. What would be some good fish to keep with them?
