There is plenty of solutions. go to a local builders merchants, they sell cement baths there which are basically a big plastic bucket, i use it for transporting fish, as long as it has never been used for cement it will be fine, just put the heater in that with your filter and keep it bare bottom and you will be fine

Yeah if he is already in it, but if he seems fine by the end of the week then keep him in there, you will stress the fish too much moving him from 1 country to another then into a tank then into another, so if he is already in the tank and not showing any dangers to health then keep him in it. WATCH YOUR LID put something heavy on it. arowana in small tanks tend to be very jumpy.

dont think ima move him this soon, ive turned on the aquarium lights now he seems to be chasing me when i walk up to the tank like hes begging for food.. shes also pooping alot already, dont think its the best idea to feed him just yet.. he doesnt appear to be stressed..

Is the 5 gallon tank cycled? How are you planning to cycle the 125g tank?

It really wouldnt cause that much stress to a fish quickly moving it to another tank, as long as the temp and exerything are the same so it can be straight out and straight in. That would cause hardly any stress.

Managed to get a couple pics, day two; he seems to be doing very well. Noticed a small piece of loose skin on the edge of his mother however. Using melafix. Doesnt look bad at all.
