HEY GUYS EVERY1 IS HAVING A PERSONAL FIGHT ON THIS THREAD!!!!! JUST TAKE A CHILL PILL :chillpill:

hmm, i know nothing about gar but that needle nose gar are pretty small even full grown up?
i was particularly interested on that type of gar when i saw at my LFS, they wanted for 22 bucks and also told me they dont grow big like other gars, if my memory serves me right he said 7 inchs full grown.
i backed out due to its small size and will be in my silver aro space and i can pretty much predict the result if i decided to keep

this thread was a good read...i learned that you don't have to actually have experience with said fish to share your personal experience with them roflmao

glad u liked it ... :D people needs to sort out there problems by themselves tho...

REMEMBER though, all fish have different temperaments so your jardini could be a bit less aggressive

Really. I know they are all different temperatures but I am raising it right in the middle to about 78-84 degrees.

 Sorry, just thought this was funny.

in my experience,
I've kept discus with a silver aro with no problems.
a jardini will most likely be a different story though. my Jar is very timid and so are discus. which is not a good combo. and my lil jar is already chompin away his cory cat buddies.
I'd say go with a silver if you want an aro with discus and gar.

lolz kk! I got a big tank for my jardni which is like a foot long now and a 9 inches gar but no discus together. They fight a little but i put a separater glass in the tank and they saw each other and fought. After a while tho they started ignoring each other. I put them on a no meat diet or live food. Now they r both pretty calm fish:). That is wat i did with my oscar and it is going great. This is a good method. Both fish gets along and i am able to keep both of them together.
