I still buy bottled water.

you use tap straight from the faucet with no filter?

I just always been iffy about drinking tap straight. I've done it before though but my tap tastes awful.

and I use tap when making ramen noodle. and also sometimes i'll dilute my kids juices with a little tap before giving it to them

No, we filter with a Britta. I love that b****

I drink water straight from the tap, done for years. While the taste is not bad it does not compare with bottled agua...I've been considering one of those faucet mounted filters.

Britta ftw!! I even have the Britta squeeze bottle for work.

A friend just gave up cable, is regretting it muchly now. Loves the savings, hates not being able to chain watch shows as background noise (like I do). Plus, Game of Thrones. No way I want to miss that (though I hear tell Amazon is making a deal to carry HBOgo now).

I heard that about Amazon this morning...It's supposed to be a blow to Netflix?

I imagine there was some heavy bidding for it ... given the popularity of GoT, I guess you could call it a minor blow.

No water tastes any different to me

I guess with me it depends on the plumbing that the water is coming through. Some places I've been at the water tastes a little salty almost.

It's not the targeted stuff, more the put on the tv on a channel and just let it run while you do other stuff.

Especially since, after a quick search, two of the channels I have on the most for background noise aren't available ... food network and HGTV.

This is the reason why cable channels need to be unbundled. Its what's keeping the prices so high
