This is a myth and a half truth at best. My silver I raised from 2.5" has not been fed feeders, yet has DE in both eyes.

I feed anchovies to all my asians and they're WAYYY more fat than feeders, why dont my asians get DE?

I thought you said DE comes from fat, not lack of nutrients. And anchovies aren't that packed full of nutrients, they're just high in salt which helps with fish digestive system.
