roflmao. i've gotta point out a few things. If people REALLY really cared about animals, we'd have the full story already. not only has the "crime" already happen, been investigated, gone to court, ruling handed out and enough time has passed for her not to pay the fine etc etc. face it, if these fish were on as high as a pedistol as some of you are trying to place them, we'd know the whole story. i admire your guys passion toward fish but atleast use common sense when it comes to the judicial system. even if it were 1000 fish it would never equal the life of one man in most of the judicial systems. Want to change it? get into office yourself. Good luck

payback is payback, you always go where it'll hurt the most. if it were the guys car, she'd have destroyed it, if it were his comic book collection, she'd have dumped something on them, if it were his dog, she'd have poisoned it. this time it just happen to be his poor fish
 
Lets not compare a fish's life and a man's life. We will always have different opinions regarding that.
But I do agree that the punishment should be harsher (maybe 1 year or so?) to deter others from committing such act of cruelty

If there's an official story, it would been out. From the pictures, someone had a bad shipment or a power failure, and decided to put them in the tank, took some pictures, and whipped up some lame story. Have any of you guys ever put that many of arowana in a tank and they're still in that condition? Who in the right mind would put 29 arowana in a tank with an angel fish, one that is known to host all kind of disease?

No, not all of us know exactly what chlorine can do to fish. Some of us just assume chlorine kill fish, but don't really know what and how chlorine damages a fish
