Never Purcash fish at

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had ordered from them twice - - several years ago - - with zero problems. I stoppd using them mainly because of the shipping costs. I agree with the posts above:

a) it makes no sense that they can't tell you shipping charges until after you place the order (and then get two charges on your credit card)

b) their shipping costs were not competetive at all

sux that you've had a bad experience, but going after them just sounds like you'll be throwing away more time, effort (and possibly $$$) for little or no return . . .

Having another bad day? Maybe you should be a MOD so that you have more control over what goes on!

OP, good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I bought a true pulcher from a LFS the other day. I asked if they quarantined their fish, yes was the answer I got from the sales associate, then I asked how long the fish had been there and he said 1 day. I kinda thought it was funny the way he said they quarantined but it had only been there one day and it was in a display tank an african tank let alone. Well I get home drip acclimate him for 30 minutes and drop him in. I left my house for about 4 hours and when I came back and when I opened the door the smell of ammonia almost dropped me to my knees I ran to my fish tank where all my 5 and 6 year old silver dollars which where big as a desert plate people use to mistake them for pacu were all dead upside down, and my banded leoprinus had jumped out of the tank he was in such distress. I called the manager this time and he said he wouldnt refund any of the money for the fish I purchased even though they have a 48 hr. return policy or compensate for my loss in fish that I have grown out for over 5 years. Well I filed a $80 civil suit on a 10 dollar fish just because its the fact of the matter they didn't do the job they were suppose to and I had a massive die off had to drain my whole tank and let the gravel dry so all parasites would die. then refill and with seeded filters already going and put my remaining fish back in. Such BS these places.
