I would never order fish from them simply because they cannot give you a shipping cost until they ship your order. So, you will have two charges from them: one for the cost of the fish and another for shipping cost. It is posted all over their website that they do not control shipping costs, that they are not responsible for shipping costs, talk to FedEx if you have a problem with the shipping costs, etc, etc...

They also do not refund for DOA's. You either pay to have more fish sent to you or you get a credit for a future order. On the website it is posted that they WILL NOT talk to customers on certain days of the week and that they simply will not deal with you if you rasie a stink about their business (aka, ask too many questions.)

I for one find it hard to believe that a company as large and as busy as AZG's says they are cannot negotiate lower shipping costs from FedEx or that they cannot charge an average flat rate overnight shipping cost.

Getting a lawyer will just be a waste of time. All of their policies are stated on their website, including the way they bill separatly for shipping and fish/merchandise.

Sorry you got caught up with this horrible company, but really nothing can be done.

If all this is actually posted on their website than the OP has no legal case. Any lawsuit would be a waste of time, $$ and nerves.
 
Sorry that stinks you trusted them and they screwed you over. I would be pissed too. Sounds like if all this is posted on the wedsite not much you can do. Just make sure you spread the word of how bad they are. Too bad you can't go straighttothe sorce and grow the dead fish in their face.

You live you learn. That's really messed you they charge you for shipping after they have been shipped. That place sounds fishy to me.
 
Why hire a lawyer for a $65 dispute? The time, effort, money is not worth it in my opinion. Sure, you can go after them but I would just let it go.

Well that is just me.
 
pre paid legal could help u i dont do it but i know some ppl that do....check it out could be cheaper... GL let us know how it goes!
 
This is terrible. Sorry for the failing hunt for festae! But next time read every page of the seller's site or sites. I've been on the verge of ordering fish from places until I read their policies. After reading it, I put it in my own words for myself and it basically said, "You will pay us a lot of money. Whatever we do after that is completely up to us and by ordering our fish you agree to be mistreated, ignored and denied the product you've paid for." And if you still order from a site with policies like that, it should be no surprise that they follow through with their stated policies.
 
sorry to hear you got screwed over, but I'm sure everyone will listen to your problem and never order from them. hopefully they will go out of business!
