WC Pearls are stupid priced right now too... Maybe it's a fad? Maybe brown is the new black? Maybe we've both been out of the loop... Maybe there was a memo? Or it was on the tps reports?

Yeah we are the only two out of the loop. I just got back to all Brown and you are close behind. Trend setters maybe??? Time will tell. If we go we have to take Jeffers as he owns like 30 guns, Scotts knows some ninja stuff, and Kevin has the muscle. We can just go down and take some and dare them to stop us (:

Have you ever wondered why there isn't updated pics of these older boesemani rays?

How about you ask the owners for updated pictures of 6+ year old(with proof of age)Boesemani stingrays.

You never know you may change your mind about acquiring one after you see it.:popcorn:
 
I can't believe how much of a fad rays are. haha love it. If it is or isn't popular just wait a few years when you don't have it anymore and it will be. Bosemani used to be relatively easy to come by (from Oliver). I have been out of rays for a few years so is funny to see these threads. . I never got any as from what I understood they are generally hard to keep with other rays as they are super aggressive. They were expensive in comparison to Marble motoros but not that bad from what I remember.

Remember what people used to pay for
1. Falkneri (still my holy grail)
2. Brachyura
3. Classic Leo
4. Xingu sp. (Snow Leopards)
5. "Mini Marbles"

I just paid a fortune for Hystrix as they are the only thing not available in Canada. People definitely want what they can't have.

When we bought the Xingus from Oliver they were not that expensive as nobody knew what they would look like (one even turned out to be a Scobina) there was one picture somebody had that turned white. I got tired of waiting and wondering sold mine before I was able to find out.

Very cool to see what is trending these days!
 
First time I saw Boesemani on Frank's site blew my mind. I'll never forget Seichii's (sp) Falks.... Almost a love at first sight thing going on here..... lol

Always had a spot in my heart for oddball lil Marbles though....... Probably still my all time favorites. :)

Still surprised Scobina aren't more popular.....

Agreed! The falks still blow my mind. As for Scobina tryto be a Canadian trying to buy Hystrix out of Europe. Every second person offered me Scobina! I think they are pretty popular over there.
