omg same thing happened to me. oscar water and koi water were green. my filter for my goldfish tank went off, so the fish i was taking care of that were someone else's died. and mine died too

I know how you feel. I trusted my pet loving neighbor to feed my fish one time. My betta tank had leftover food floating on the top and the water was so nasty. Of course, Bettas like murky water, but you would think people would use more common sense! I had another tank that the pump was not running and a frog that was stuck to the intake. Oh well! Live and learn!

oh deary me lol !! i just ask a fellow fish keeper to look after them, after all it does take a cosiderable amount of knowlege (depending on fish kept) to check on all the vital stats and be competent at correcting them !

I went on vacation and left my sister in charge of my 125. It had 2 very large oscars in it. When came back 1week later it looked like pond water I could not see the fish.

If you use the auto feeder, make sure you run it several days while still home to check to see if it operates properlly.

Dude, this is your grandma we are talking about right. Like, as in a senior citizen. Not saying older people cant do manual labor, but man, this is your grandma. You're supposed to mow her lawn.

^^Maybe he just knows what is inevitable with all old people, and that he will end up taking care of her and feeding her and changing her depense. He was probably trying to get as much out of her well he still can to pay for future favors.
