Could be a 10" but not sure. Didnt have a ruler nearby when I was netting him. My other two are about 7" and 5". The largest is over 10 years old. The smallest I raised from 1" about 3 or 4 yrs ago

I take my hat off to you and to anyone who has the patience to raise a clown loach from 4" to 9"+. Not a lot of people can say that. That is very impressive. Good job man. Now can i buy it? Jk

Eating bristlenose fry? awesome haha
Nice pick up, thats one fatty for sure.

Thats the reason that tank raised loaches have so much more value to me. Ive passed on a lot of big "wild caught looking" loaches because of that reason. Seems almost like cheating when you catch it from the wild already big. Part of keeping loaches for me is growing them out from small to huge in a tank. Thats what makes big clown loaches more impressive to people because they know how long it takes. Im just starting where the old owner left off when i buy a older clown loach.

There were hundreds of bristlenose fry in that tank! She had all kinds. Longfin, regular, albino. Crazy. Lol. She actually netted some accidentally when getting the loaches out and now i have some too. Will probably just throw them in my small planted tank though.

And just to think.. I've been going to my local petsmart and pet supplies for a albino bristlenose and finally I did go and seen the one store had a dozen in a bag so I was like meh I'll pick them up tomorrow.. went back and all were gone with like 4 dead ones in the tank.. not sure if it was a good thing or not that I did not get those.

I agree with that. I love learning their personalities and preferences. Good job on such a good find!
