Sorry adam but i dont understand what you are saying. Were there loaches in the petsmart tank and they ate all of the bristlnose and you were planning on buying the bristlenose for your loach tank at home?

I Need to get some pictures of the orange spot loach so you guys can tell me if youve ever seen anything like it. So ill get pics of all of them while im at it. I will asap. Not sure when yet. When i get a chance. Night time is best for better pictures.

I just bought a CL that's almost 2". So you're telling me it'll take 4+ years to get to a 6"? Dang, I hope mine survives. I may have to separate it for now

Yeah that sounds about right for mine. Best bet for good growth is to give them a variety. Mine are not picky and will eat anything that goes in the tank..including fresh veggies, bloodworms, pellets sinking and floating.

What else is in your tank?
