I have that same tank w/o the canopy. Maybe you can talk to my girl at the social. I'm a cichlid nut, but she is into nano species gobies, dwarf puffers, killies, livebearers, tetras, small plecos, cories and dwarf cichlids like apistos. Ik Geos are cichlids, but they would do well in that tank.

id say screw the breeding and go with some real bad *** fish. black wolf fish, elongatus piranha, red tail payara, yellowtail barracudas... yes some fish get big but most characins are slow growing. ull be able to keep them for a couple years and after that ull want new fish anyways. go big or go home

Lol, I hate plumbing. I stick to HOBs and simple canisters. Don't care if I have tubes showing everywhere, lol.

A 20 long would be better. If you get a pump to run it, I can show you an el cheapo way to rig sump up w/ eggcrate...
