New 1100 gallon pond project. (Humidity concern)

I've filled the pond and I installed the filter.
The front wall of the pond did bow a little under the massive pressure of the water. It moved about an inch. I'll keep a close look and monitor the situation.
The 2900 gph pump is moving a LOT of water. The filter is splashing water on the wall so I put a plywood for now until I find a solution. I tried aiming the outtake toward the middle but it was splashing the floor instead. lol
Next week I'll start working on setting up the inside of the pond. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet.

Looks great! As for the filter, you'll want to find a way to extend the output a bit until it is under the water....surface movement increases evaporation(humidity) as well as splashing on your walls lol. As for the bottom, I'd highly recommend putting some lighter colored tiles on the bottom. They look good and are easy to keep clean.
I decided to drain the pond to fix the bowing problem. I did not want to take the chance to leave the pond unattended over the weekend while I'm out of town.
I'll fix the problem next week. Slight delay but it's for the best I think.
The good news is the pump is so powerful it only took 20-25 minutes to empty the pond. Took 4 hours to fill it. hahahahahahaha

I installed a centre brace made of 2x6 this afternoon.
I also installed 2x 1/2-13 bolts in each of the front corners to make them stronger.
Then I threw out the intake fittings provided with the filter and made my own.
Measured the width of the pond in the middle before filling it up again to see if the changes I made made any difference. (77" 1/8)
