A tank that size needs far less filters. You are wasting a lot of money. The amount of fish that could be supported by those filters won't even fit in that tank. A sump would have been a much better option.

I agree you could have saved alot of dough going with a sump and it would be more managable than changing 20 canister filters at cleaning time.

But kudos to you and nice tank.

Thats what I thought when I saw the tank picture. Not to mention the cost of them, you probably could have had 2 complete set ups like that one in the picture with sumps!

money to burn,must be nice.Great tank,silly filtration
I think of is as a waste of resources.

There is far more efficent filtration available on the market or a fraction of the cost.

Give us the heads up when you're selling those filters.

Totally agreed man... that's too many filters... a good sump setup would already be more than sufficient... or if your bioload is really heavy... a good sump tank with a cannister connected to a denitrator booster by a protein skimmer...

Anyway I remembered working in a marine institute before... we didn't use that many filters but each Eheim we used was at leat 2-2.5ft tall... not sure about the model but I don't think you can purchase them from the LFS.
