ive seen the dumbest threads with pics moved to the photo lounge
but yet here we have one of the baddest all glass tank on mfk
and no one will move it.

guess ya cant take the jealousy out of people.

It's "setup" pictures not pictures of fish.. BTW call and let me know what to be jealous about. I'll give him kudos it's a nice tank as I and most everyone else already did say. But jealousy takes it too far.

What does this have to do with the thread? Are you trying to get it closed again? I hope the kid does not come back. He deserves a better reception for his tank. I see little jealousy in this thread but plenty arrogance... Oh and don't worry about reporting my post, because I will do it myself. A lot of people wanted this re opened and it became so. A lot of people are trolls and it is becoming so....

am i the only one here that likes the idea of having 20 canisters on the tank? sure i'm not a huge fan of canisters because in general their flow rates suck but if the guy wanted to have a 1,000g sump moving 10,000gph i'd still like it just as much. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH USING MORE FILTERS THAN NECCESSARY, AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T HARM THE FISH. yes, the population of bacteria is going to be the same as if there was 1 filter or 20 but it doesn't matter, what if one dies? no big deal that's just 1/20th of the filtration capacity reduced. and because the waste is spread out among 20 filters it should take much longer for them to start getting clogged and have reduced flow rates than if there was few. oh and ccdoido38, if you want an explanation of how a sump works as well as some help setting one up if you ever want to give it a try(i'd highly recommend it, they're great filters and very simple) then come on over to the wetwebfotos.com forum, you won't get harrassed there about having too much filtration because we don't believe such a thing is possible. we're generally pretty laid back(except in the bar and grill, that can get interesting sometimes)
