I think your list is fine but I honestly think most everybody is underestimating Jags. If you end up with a male jag who grows up to be a 15"monster he can kill everything on your list. He might not do that, but really it just depends on the sex and the temperment of the fish you get. I don't care if you get the biggest baddest most aggressive convict there is, if a full grown Jag doesn't want him in the tank he won't be in the tank very long after the jag is grown up. you should definitely be fine for a while (I would say at least a year) but after that it's all gonna depend on how acepting your jag is of his tankmates. I would say either lose the jag or go with larger cichlids who will be able to defend themselves better and forget the smaller fish altogether. My old Jag killed a GT an albino tiger Oscar, spotted pictus cat and two firemouths. And he was the last fish added and literally he was half of their size when I put him in. For the first two months all he did was hide in a large plant I had and only came out to eat, otherwise they constantly tortured him. So maybe he was hellbent on revenge when he was bigger but he did not want anything else in their so their was nothing I could do. But you never know I had an 8"red devil who couldn't care less about who was around him. But in my opinion you will have to get pretty lucky with the Jag.
Also I don't think anyone has a hard time understanding your tank size. It's just that you are trying to put two really large cichlids with a bunch of fish that only grow half their size. That is pretty much a recipe for disaster unless you happen to get passive fish.
