there's a polleni grouper, i believe it's found slightly deeper than the usual aquaria fish. blue stripes if i remember correct. not too big.

for a lion tankmate, go for groupers, bigger dottybacks, hawkfish, wrasses, eels. triggers and puffers are risky, as they nip the lion's fins.

live rock and good water movement. skimmer will help if you have monsters.

1.5-2lbs of live rock per gallon. A Turboflotor or ASM protein skimmer. And a Wet/dry filter.

so i figured out where this tank is goin.......in my bedroom wall. i cant wait to start on this thing. and i still need filtering tips please.

i have a 40gal sump filled with LR and a refugium of chaeto. plus a weipro venturi skimmer [not the best but common around here. will upgrade soon] also i'd consider my koralia's an integral part of filtration. i have two #4s and also one seio, M620. gives me over 35X circulation. got about 12X turnover through the sump.
