shellies usually need a 30" foot print in most cases, the added height of a 20 gallon really is not useful for shellies

good to know voss, i always thought they were sweet sounding fish, but never researched them much. thanks for the info

Go marine. You can fit some many little monster creatures in a tank that size if its salt. For fresh IMO a bigger tank is needed to have some really cool stuff.
