I got the same tank from Charlie and I painted the back and the bottom. Look for the shots of my tank

nice tank, i was thinking about painting bottom also but i'm going to be doing black sand already so i figure no need to paint bottom. it looks good though if i were going to do bare.

here are pics of it on the stand but there is a a little problem. in one of the pics it shows the stand lip off on the side and the tank trim is kind of hanging over about 3/16". would that be a problem? what should i do? new stand?






i would do metal stand if i really needed to but if i could keep this stand it would save me money. i got a quote for metal stand being welded for me 175 painted.

yeah its a good deal. but if i could save money and dont need to buy new stand that would be great. its just trim hanging over a little not glass. the glass is pretty flush with top of stand.

I dont think its going to be a problem if its just a little bit hanging over, its gonna hold.

thanks for the reassurance. i going to keep the stand and once i fix the trim on tank and repaint it i'll update photo.
