yeah I was going to hold off setting up the tenecor and didn't want to leave it sitting somewhere to collect dust so i decided to sell. but somehow i ended up getting this tank. i guess i couldn't take it, i needed a tank. btw how's the tenecor? any pics? wish i still had, it would've been easier to carry on the stand, glass is f ing heavy.

Why the new tank? I got the tenecor w/ the same dims from you? Nice setup btw.

here is an angled pic with trim back on stand. can't wait to finally set-up, but it's going to take me awhile. work sucks.

nice tank, whats the filtration going to be?

I'm probably going with a wet/dry and couple of hydro sponge filters. I would go with a canister but want a cleaner look inside of the tank.

I'm all about the black backgrounds too. There's nothing better to bring out color than a black background. It brings everything including the fish colors out more. I went back and forth on whether to do a royal blue or just black like my other tanks. I'm happy I stuck with the black. It's the next best thing to a 3d background.

No im still working on a stand...All these killer deals keep popping up. So I had to buy another Azul:)

just finished putting final coat on stand where i took trim off to accomidate the little extra space needed. i used wood filler on the upper front corner gaps, i added about a 1/4" on both sides then centered tank. few more things to do before i can finally set up and cycle. like sand doors and paint, clean black 3m colorquartz t grade which is going to take forever, and get lights.
